Ralf Schumacher anticipated the outcome of Red Bull's emergency meeting
Brother Michael assured that the Austrian team has already defined the future of Lawson and Tsunoda
Liam Lawson's poor performance in his latest appearances led Red Bull's management to consider a change in their line-up and hold an emergency meeting to define their next steps. In this context, Ralf Schumacher, turned journalist, stated that Lawson's fate is sealed.
"I just received a message from an F1 source and I have it confirmed, Liam Lawson is already out of Red Bull for the next race. Yuki Tsunoda will replace him," Schumacher stated to Sky Germany.

The experienced analyst explained that, for the moment, Red Bull will opt to swap their drivers, which leaves Franco Colapinto out of the equation for the next Japanese Grand Prix. However, he noted that the strategy is still under evaluation and the negotiation remains open.
In that framework, Schumacher added: "Incredible, it's especially poor management. I don't understand why you're destabilizing the good Racing Bulls team, which finally looks better with both drivers. Lawson will return to Racing Bulls and he has to improve".

Finally, he concluded with a strong criticism: "This is total chaos within Red Bull. Not only is the main team slow (currently), but they are swapping drivers".
Key meeting at Red Bull: Lawson's future is defined and Colapinto awaits his opportunity
Helmut Marko, team advisor and head of Racing Bulls, acknowledged that the start of the season has been concerning for the energy drink team. "This week there is a meeting in Milton Keynes to discuss when and how we can close the gap. Until then, it's about scoring as many points as possible... We are worried, but it's not like we're throwing in the towel," Marko declared.

He also emphasized the confidence in the team's ability to turn the situation around: "We have great strength and depth in our team. Everyone in the company knows we have a bit of pace to find and you know, we have the tools, we have the people to do that. We just have to unleash it," he expressed in statements to Motorsport.
One of the key points of the meeting will be the possible replacement of Lawson by Yuki Tsunoda before the Japanese Grand Prix, scheduled for two weeks from now, on April 6 at the legendary Suzuka Circuit.
