Record purchases by courier: consumption of technology, clothing, and goods is increasing
Purchases from abroad through courier services grew significantly with the economic liberalization promoted by Milei's government
The courier business in Argentina showed sustained growth in 2025, with strong momentum in sectors such as technology, apparel, and capital goods.
Thanks to the economic liberalization by the Government of Javier Milei, consumers have access to cheaper products and better quality, boosting trade.

More purchases from abroad
Between January and April 2025, 402,646 shipments were recorded by individuals through courier companies, amounting to a value of 59.8 million dollars.
Sixty-four authorized companies participated in this regime. The modality gained strength as an agile way to import products without intermediaries.
Buenos Aires province leads the way
Forty-three point six percent of shipments were concentrated in Buenos Aires province, far above other jurisdictions.

Next are CABA (15%), Córdoba (8%), Santa Fe (3.2%), and Mendoza (2.8%). The provinces with the lowest participation were Tierra del Fuego, Catamarca, Jujuy, La Pampa, and Santa Cruz, all below 0.6%.
The impact of economic liberalization
The national government celebrates these figures as evidence of the positive effect of trade deregulation.

Felipe Núñez, economic advisor, highlighted that "thanks to liberalization, lower taxes, and deregulation, the prices of products such as appliances or clothing are converging to international values."
More access, more consumption
Núñez emphasized that "consumers today can access better products at lower prices," which allows income to be freed up for spending in other sectors.
He also pointed out that companies can acquire capital goods such as computers at lower cost, which improves productivity.
