After weeks of speculation and rumors about his possible return to La Voz Argentina, Ricardo Montaner decided to put an end to the doubts and reveal the real reason why he won't be part of the jury in the next edition of the musical reality show on Telefe.

Through his X account, the performer of Tan enamorados shared a message in which he explained his decision to decline the channel's offer:

"I received a warm invitation from my dear friends at Telefe to once again be part of the group of coaches of La Voz Argentina. My retirement from the stage forces me not to accept such a beautiful offer", the artist wrote, thus confirming that his departure is due to his recent withdrawal from the stage.

However, Montaner made it clear that he maintains great affection for the show's team and his fellow jury members: "I will miss you all and I will see you triumphing and winning as always. I leave the way clear for Sole Pastorutti to once again take the trophy of La Voz Argentina 2025. Hugs to all that beautiful team we formed. I love you all", he added.

The Venezuelan singer-songwriter's announcement comes shortly after he surprised his followers by revealing that he will temporarily step away from the stage. During his last concert in Costa Rica, at the Coca-Cola Amphitheater in Parque Viva, Montaner communicated his decision to more than 10,000 fans.

At 66 years old and with more than three decades of uninterrupted career, the musician assured that this break will allow him to focus on other projects. Although he will stop performing live, he will not completely say goodbye to the music industry.

Meanwhile, as the production of La Voz Argentina adjusts the final details for its return to the screen, Telefe has already confirmed three of the four judges who will be part of the new edition.

Soledad Pastorutti will return with her vast experience in the contest and her established career in folklore. Lali Espósito, one of the most influential artists in Latin pop, will also return to her seat as a coach. The big news will be the incorporation of Luck Ra, the young cuarteto and urban music singer, who will make his debut in the reality show.
