The Rural Society of Río Cuarto enthusiastically celebrated the national government's decision to reduce grain export taxes. In an official statement, the organization described the measure as an "encouraging sign" for the entire productive sector in the interior. They emphasized that there is steady progress in dismantling the overwhelming tax burden that has built up over recent decades.

The leadership especially valued that the tax reduction was implemented after the close of the electoral calendar and not during the campaign. They highlighted that fulfilling the promise did not seek electoral gain, setting itself apart from old politics. This action confirms an economic direction that prioritizes market freedom and respect for private property.

The document underscores that the reduction of export duties is an "always timely and necessary" decision for agriculture. They seek to restore competitiveness to an innovative sector that was "cornered in stagnation" by fiscal suffocation. The measure is seen as a key step to unleash productive forces and encourage genuine private investment.

A firm step toward commercial freedom

Although they celebrated the announcement as "another decision in the right direction," the organization warned that there is still a way to go. The final and non-negotiable goal must be the complete elimination of export taxes to end all distortions. They consider that the deregulation agenda is the only possible path to enhance producers' talent.

Heraldo Moyetta, head of the institution, reaffirmed support for the economic and fiscal direction set by President Javier Milei. Río Cuarto's Rural Society keeps close alignment with the national project that defends the sector generating foreign currency. The leader seeks to consolidate an agenda that allows the agricultural sector to unleash its full potential without the state's foot on its neck.

The removal of tax barriers will encourage new investments and definitively break the sector's stagnation. Meanwhile, the agricultural sector trusts that this tax relief will be the prelude to a definitive normalization of foreign trade. It is recognition of a productive engine that needs clear rules to continue driving the country's economy.

Heraldo Moyetta, titular de la institución, ratificó el apoyo al rumbo económico y fiscal trazado por el presidente Javier Milei.
