The leak occurred when the image of the automaton from Zaun appeared in several sections of the portal, which quickly caught the community's attention.
After the discovery spread, Riot ended up officially announcing the character's addition on its social media channels. Blitzcrank will debut in the closed beta on September 9 on PC, while news about the console versions is still pending.
