Riot Games announces a new beta for its League of Legends fighting game
Riot confirmed the closed beta for 2XKO in September and previewed key updates at EVO 2025
Riot Games has confirmed the upcoming closed beta for 2XKO, its new free fighting game. Access will begin in September, and it comes with highly anticipated gameplay updates.
Additionally, the title will be present at EVO 2025, where players will be able to play with a brand-new character. The competition will mark a key milestone on the road to the official release.

When does the 2XKO closed beta start?
The closed beta for 2XKO will begin on September 9 on PC. Later, it will also arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Once activated, Riot plans to keep the servers online continuously until the official launch. This suggests that the game could be getting closer to a full release.
Cross-progression between platforms
The game will feature cross-progression between platforms. You'll be able to start on PC and continue your game on console without losing anything.

This points to a smooth and flexible experience, something highly valued by those who play on multiple devices.
Automatic access for those who participated in the alpha tests
If you already played any of the Alpha Lab (1 or 2), whether on PC or consoles, you'll have automatic access to the September closed beta.

If you are not registered, you can sign up from the game's official page.
2XKO to be showcased at EVO with a new playable character
From August 1 to 3, 2XKO will be present at EVO, the world's most important fighting event. A new playable champion will be revealed there.
Additionally, Vi will be available to try at Riot's booth during the event. This champion will also be part of the roster in the closed beta.
