River - Platense: time, TV, line-ups, and how each team is doing
The Millionaire, with rising football level, hosts Calamar in the last match of the quarterfinals of the Torneo Apertura
In the last quarterfinal match, River will try to maintain its great home form against Platense. The winner of the series will play against San Lorenzo, which recently eliminated Argentinos Juniors.
Although the Millionaire is still competing on two fronts, everything seems to indicate that it will bet everything on this match, as it confirmed its qualification to the round of 16 in the Copa Libertadores. Meanwhile, Platense, the Vicente López team will seek another miracle, after eliminating Racing in the previous round.
How is each team doing and when did they last meet?
River comes into this match after two sensational performances domestically and internationally. In the Apertura, it comes from a 3-0 thrashing of Barracas Central in the round of 16, with goals from Paulo Díaz, Nacho Fernández, and Marcos Acuña, while in the Libertadores, it comes from crushing Independiente del Valle with a resounding 6 to 2.

Meanwhile, Platense reached the quarterfinals after pulling off a shock against Racing, one of the title favorites. In that match, the Squid won by the minimum, with the only goal at 84 minutes by Nicolás Orsini, who had entered three minutes earlier.

They last faced each other at the beginning of the year, in the first round of the Torneo Apertura. In the Ciudad de Vicente López, they ended in a draw, with a goal on each side, Ignacio Vázquez for the Squid and Matías Rojas for the Núñez team.
