Fortunately for the Italians, two Argentinians came to the rescue: Lautaro Martínez and Valentín Carboni. "El Toro" scored the equalizer with a spectacular bicycle kick in the 78th minute, while the Lanús product turned the match around in stoppage time.

In terms of history, the two teams have played each other only once, in a friendly match held at the Giuseppe Meazza as part of the 1961 Italy Tournament, a European tour by the Argentine team. Back then, Los Millonarios and the Nerazzurri drew 1-1, with goals from Mario Corso for the home side and the Brazilian Moacyr for the visitors.

Los Millonarios's last match in the group stage of the Club World Cup against Inter Milan will be this Wednesday starting at 4:00 p.m. at Lumen Field Stadium in Seattle.
