ROSÉ made history in China: first singer on the cover of W Magazine
BLACKPINK's star excelled in an edition dedicated to energy, fashion, and personal authenticity
Rosé marked a new milestone in her career by becoming the first singer to grace the cover of W Magazine China, Vol. 2 edition of 2025. The BLACKPINK member was the central figure of "The Energy Issue," an edition that highlighted her magnetism as an artist and as an international fashion icon.
In that exclusive interview, Rosé revealed that musical creation allowed her to heal personal wounds and, hopefully, provide comfort to others. She shared that each song on her album was born from genuine pain, which transformed into valuable and cathartic memories.

Fashion, female power, and artistic authenticity
The photo preview, published between April 29 and 30, showcased Rosé's characteristic elegance and charisma. Her presence reaffirmed her status as one of the most influential figures in the industry.
She wore Look 15 from the Spring/Summer 2025 collection of Saint Laurent and Look 2 from Schiaparelli, top-level houses she represents as a global ambassador. She completed her outfit with jewelry from Tiffany & Co., including a necklace from the Tiffany Lock Rosé Edition collection, designed in her honor.
The session's aesthetic captured her personal evolution. The visual concept focused on female strength and the value of pursuing dreams. Her stylist confessed that, although they planned a pose inspired by a fairy, Rosé improvised and managed to appear "like an angel descending from the sky."

Each photograph reflected a fusion of haute couture and artistic sensitivity. With dynamic poses and a powerful expression, Rosé conveyed pure energy and authenticity, aligning with the magazine's editorial concept.
Music born from the heart and new collaborations
During the conversation, the singer-songwriter spoke about the emotional origin of her latest album. She confessed that she dared to write about experiences that hurt her, which made the process both revealing and healing.
Rosé insisted that true music is born from real experiences. She asserted that emotions can't be faked, and only those that come from the heart have the power to move. For her, music is a true reflection of life.
Regarding her solo career, she explained that building her own stage involved time, work, and inspiration. "Creating my artistic world was a challenge," she said, although she acknowledged that each day she was getting closer to that personal universe she longed to share with the public.
She also spoke about her connection with other musicians, especially with Bruno Mars, with whom she worked on "APT." From that collaboration, a close friendship emerged. She admired his ability to generate trust and create an atmosphere conducive to both artistic worlds merging naturally.

The artist also shared her deep admiration for her mother, whom she recognized as her greatest source of strength. "She is always there for me, with wisdom and love," she expressed.
Rosé described herself as a perfectionist in music, but more relaxed in everyday life. She recalled her childhood in Australia, when she was just an ordinary girl studying and playing the piano. Years later, her time as a trainee was a total commitment. She said she felt grateful for having found a vocation that completely captivates her.
Regarding her creative process, she revealed that she dedicates meetings and meticulous attention to every detail. Shortly before going on stage, she allows herself to let go and enjoy the moment. "When everything is ready, the heart races and excitement envelops me. It's like a child entering Disneyland," she concluded.
