How the increase scheme worked until July
The July adjustment was part of the salary restructuring agreed upon by the CNTCP, under Law No. 26,844. The schedule included consecutive monthly increases:
April: 1.8%
May: 1.6%
June: 1.5%
July: 1.4%
Each increase was calculated based on the already updated salary from the previous month.

The current minimum wages for private household staff are established as follows:
Supervisors with live-in: $4,438.77 per hour and $553,725.91 monthly
Supervisors without live-in: $4,223.25 per hour and $612,673.11 monthly
Staff for specific tasks with live-in: $4,223.25 per hour and $517,006.43 monthly
Staff for specific tasks without live-in: $4,597.18 per hour and $5,713,426.17 monthly
Caretakers: $3,996.45 per hour and $505,302.76 monthly
Assistance and care for people with live-in: $3,996.45 per hour and $505,302.76 monthly
Assistance and care for people without live-in: $4,435.86 per hour and $558,972.92 monthly
General tasks staff with live-in: $3,733.72 per hour and $458,053.22 monthly

How much do domestic workers charge per hour and per month
In areas considered unfavorable (La Pampa, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, and the Buenos Aires party of Carmen de Patagones), an additional 31% applies to the minimum wages of each category.
When will the new increase for domestic workers be defined
According to the agreement between labor authorities and sector chambers, the salary review clause is set for July 2026. During that month, the CNTCP was to meet in plenary to analyze the impact of inflation on the purchasing power of workers.

This review instance coincides with the expiration of the previously agreed quarterly bargaining scheme. Once the sequence of increases from April to July is completed, the parties must negotiate a new salary floor that will apply for the coming months.
