The Salvadoran criminal Abrego García will be deported to Eswatini.

After the undocumented immigrant's lawyers reported an alleged risk of 'persecution or torture' throughout the Latin American continent, Trump decided to send him to Africa

Due to multiple attempts by his lawyers to obstruct the deportation process, Eswatini, the smallest country in Africa, will be the new destination to which Salvadoran criminal Kilmar Abrego García will be sent.

The new proposal from immigration authorities arises after García's legal team presented an unusual list of 22 countries where their client could face "persecution or torture" proceedings. That list includes virtually all countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

Several weeks ago, the United States government gave García the option to be evacuated to Costa Rica with his family or refuse and be transferred to Uganda. Since the Salvadoran criminal claims that his life is also at risk in Uganda, the only remaining option is to send him to Eswatini.

Bukele refutes the Democrats.

Nayib Bukele, president of García's home country, analyzed the case on his X account, where he denounced the strategy of the illegal immigrant's defense, which simply seeks to prevent the law from being enforced and to keep his client from being deported. "If you think (the accusations) are real, you're foolish to believe that all those countries also commit torture," Bukele said.

Democrats made Abrego García a symbol of the defense of illegal immigration in the United States, having provided him with legal counsel and even visiting him while he was detained at the Terrorism Confinement Center (CECOT) in El Salvador, when he was first deported by the U.S. last May.

According to the opposition, the Salvadoran criminal was subjected to torture during his stay at CECOT, an accusation that Bukele refuted on multiple occasions with photos and videos.

It is worth noting that Abrego García faces charges of gang association, child abuse, and human trafficking. He was apprehended on November 30, 2022, on a road near the border, while driving a van with nine people inside, including a 15-year-old minor.
