Samsung is working on a project that could once again change the foldable smartphone market. This is the Galaxy Z Trifold, the company's first triple model, which has already revealed several of its possible features.
This device would not replace the Galaxy Z Fold 7, but would be added to the catalog as the Korean firm's most ambitious bet.
Un diseño completamente nuevo para el mercado
A design different from Huawei's
In the current market, only Huawei has ventured into a similar format with the Mate X. However, Samsung's model would not copy that proposal. The Galaxy Z Trifold would use a dual hinge system that would allow a U-shaped fold, with a triple screen facing inward and another external screen for daily use.
Leaked screens and specifications
Leaks indicate that the Galaxy Z Trifold would have:
Internal screen of up to 10 inches.
External screen of 6.5 inches.
Latest generation chip, possibly the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Larger battery than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, with a focus on durability.
Camera system similar to the latest Fold, with possible sensor adjustments.
Launch and availability
The new smartphone doesn't have an official date yet. According to reports from 9to5Google, it is expected to be unveiled at an exclusive event in South Korea around November 2025.

Initial production would be very limited, with about 50,000 units. The launch would be focused on South Korea and the United States, with no confirmation of arrival in other markets.
