Samsung would develop smart glasses that are more affordable than the Ray-Ban Meta.
Samsung will launch smart glasses with a camera, speakers, and voice control to compete with Ray-Ban Meta
Samsung joins the smart glasses race with a model aimed at competing with the Ray-Ban Meta, but at a lower price. The company aims to combine technology and portability to attract more users.
Leaks from South Korea indicate that the launch could take place at the end of next year, and that these glasses will include a camera, microphone, and speakers, without a built-in screen.

A more accessible approach
Unlike its bet on mixed reality with Project Moohan, these glasses target a broader and more budget-conscious audience. The goal is to offer multimedia features, voice assistance, and portable video capture.
Features and capabilities
- Real-time translation.
- Voice control.
- Media playback.
Samsung believes these devices could partially replace mobile phones thanks to their advantage of showing the world from the user's perspective.

Expanding market
Other companies are also joining this segment. HTC recently introduced its Vive Eagle, smart glasses with an attractive design.
