In the context of the investigation into the alleged fraudulent administration during the presidency of Marcelo Moretti at San Lorenzo, prosecutor Mónica Cuñarro addressed the case again after a period of silence.

"The judge ordered the questioning in June and since last week until now Moretti's defense has argued that summoning him for questioning violates his right to a defense," she stated on Radio 10.

Moretti's defense has presented various delaying maneuvers, arguing that it has not yet been determined whether the case falls under the jurisdiction of the City or the Nation. The former president has already been summoned twice for questioning: in the first instance, he submitted a written statement and in the second, the hearing was suspended. In addition, searches were carried out both at San Lorenzo's headquarters on Avenida La Plata and at Moretti's private residence.

In this regard, Cuñarro pointed out: "A few days ago, I replied to this new submission, which results in the suspension of the questioning, marking the third time it has been suspended. In my view, the purpose is to obstruct the progress of the investigation."

While updates are expected in the coming days or weeks, the club is undergoing a process of political reorganization. The extraordinary and ordinary Assembly has been scheduled for October 13, just four days before the judicial mediation between Moretti and San Lorenzo, requested by the former executive to declare null and void the last Board of Directors meeting that resulted in the leadership vacuum.
