Controversy at San Lorenzo: Moretti reappeared at the club, and Lopardo might be about to resign
The president of Ciclón returned to the Avenida La Plata headquarters accompanied by a notary, but was denied access to the offices
The institutional crisis at San Lorenzo added a new episode on Monday, when Marcelo Moretti, who is currently on leave from his position as president, returned to the club's headquarters.
He arrived at Avenida La Plata with a notary, although he was only able to enter the reception area, since Martín Cigna, the club's secretary, denied him access to the offices due to the absence of board members to receive him.

Although it is still unclear what motivated this attempted return, in order to make his definitive comeback he must end his leave of absence, something that must be formally communicated and addressed by the Board of Directors.
Meanwhile, this is not the first time he has tried. He had already appeared on May 25, when he tried to enter the Pedro Bidegain stadium to attend the semifinal against Platense, something he ultimately was unable to do.
The situation is creating uncertainty within the club's leadership. Interim president Julio Lopardo himself had warned in an interview with La Cicloneta: "Come back or resign. If he doesn't make a decision before the weekend, between Monday and Wednesday I'll resign".

In the same vein, Cigna himself stated on Radio La Red: "I'll never be the Secretary again if Marcelo Moretti returns to the club. I've made up my mind. I'm not going back on that".
With these firm stances, Moretti's possible return could trigger a wave of resignations and leave San Lorenzo in an even more delicate institutional situation.
For now, the question remains: Will Moretti actually seek to reclaim his place in the presidency, or is this just another fleeting appearance amid the club's political crisis?
