Santiago, the student who was threatened by Kirchnerists, was received by the Government
By instruction of Javier Milei, Capital Humano received the student who reported Kirchnerist ideological harassment
Freedom of thought remains an unsolved issue in some Argentine classrooms. A new case of ideological indoctrination and political persecution is shaking the public education system. Santiago, a student at Primera Junta school in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Caballito, has not been able to attend classes for more than a week after being threatened for expressing his support for the judicial conviction of former president Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
The story came to light through Esteban Trebucq's program on La Nación+, where Santiago and his mother, Jaqueline Lamas, described how the young man was harassed after participating in a school assembly organized following the judicial ruling in the Vialidad case. There, he expressed his support for the Justice system's decision, which triggered a violent reaction from his classmates with Kirchnerist sympathies. The threats he received made his presence in the classroom unsustainable.

Even more concerning was the inaction of the school authorities. Jaqueline went to the school's administration seeking answers and protection for her son, but she did not receive any solution. Meanwhile, the student reported that some teachers use classes to systematically attack Javier Milei's government and promote a partisan discourse aligned with Kirchnerism, which reinforces the climate of ideological intolerance within the institution.
Faced with this situation, the national government did not hesitate to intervene. Through a statement issued by the Ministry of Human Capital, it was confirmed that the student and his mother were officially received. Minister Sandra Pettovello's post summarizes the government's actions:
"Human Capital received the student who reported ideological harassment. By instruction of President Javier Milei and on behalf of Minister Sandra Pettovello, the Secretary of Education, Carlos Torrendell, and the Undersecretary of University Policies, Alejandro Álvarez, received the student Santiago and his mother, Jaqueline Lamas, to learn about the ideological harassment that the minor reported having suffered from other students, in the face of the inaction of teachers and authorities. The officials took note of the detailed account provided by the young man and his mother in order to move forward with the appropriate measures before the authorities of the educational institution in the relevant jurisdiction. It is reminded that for reports of ideological harassment, the official channel of the Ministry of Human Capital 0800-222-1197 is available."

Undersecretary Alejandro Álvarez also spoke out firmly through his X account:
"We are not going to allow this to happen. We will defend anyone who is persecuted or silenced by the enemies of freedom. Education must be a place of protection and coexistence, not a place taken over by authoritarian minorities.", he stated.
This case reopens the debate on ideological indoctrination in public schools and exposes a concerning culture of intolerance promoted by teaching sectors aligned with Kirchnerism. The institutional passivity contrasts with the forcefulness of Javier Milei's government, which not only condemned what happened but also activated the necessary mechanisms to guarantee students' freedom of expression throughout the country. Santiago remains at home, waiting for a solution that will allow him to return to the classroom safely. Now, however, he does so knowing that he is not alone: the national government gave him a clear, swift, and courageous response.
