Santiago del Azar explained why he deleted all the messages he had sent to Melody Luz
After the controversial breakup, the chef gave his version regarding the leak and explained why he deleted part of the chats
The separation between Santiago del Azar and Melody Luz keeps adding chapters. Although more than a week has passed since the end of the relationship was confirmed, both continue to make statements about each other in the media and on social networks. Clashes, accusations of violence, and the leaking of private chats are part of a story that, far from ending, keeps escalating.
In recent hours, the chef and influencer broke his silence and spoke for the first time about the messages he shared publicly, which caused outrage in his ex-partner. In a conversation with Puro Show (eltrece), del Azar explained why he decided to delete part of his own texts in the conversation he circulated: "I deleted it because I was a fool... in love", he admitted.
The controversy erupted when Melody claimed that her ex had cut messages and omitted important parts of the exchange, which, according to her, distorted the real tone of the conversation. "Not much of a man, anyway, I never showed any conversation", she declared angrily on LAM (América TV), and stated that what happened between them was a short but intense relationship, with intimate moments that she chose to keep private.

Meanwhile, Santiago del Azar not only replied to the dancer's statements, but also gave his version of the episode that allegedly caused the definitive breakup of the relationship. "Clearly I wasn't violent. The only thing I said was: 'Tell Alex to leave. I saw you lying in bed with him, I don't want him there.' That was all," the chef said, referring to Alex Caniggia, Melody's ex-partner.
He also clarified that his subsequent reaction was the result of emotional pain. "I rang the doorbell twice, I never kicked the door, I never insulted her. I wasn't aggressive. If I had been, I'd admit it", he stated. He also emphasized that the deleted messages didn't contain insults, but harsh phrases that came from anger, such as: "You were the worst thing that happened to me, I don't want to see you anymore, you did this to me."

The leaking of chats caused a stir again when Santiago showed on the program Mujeres Argentinas (eltrece) an intimate conversation that Melody sent him during the early morning hours. In one of the messages, she wrote to him: "I didn't want to lose you." To which del Azar replied: "Enough, Mel, I haven't slept in four days." In another part of that exchange, she acknowledged the sexual relationship they shared and the emotional connection she felt: "No one had ever made love to me like that." He replied: "No, because I made love to you for real, with love."
Later, the chef admitted that he shouldn't have shared that part of the conversation. "I shouldn't have said it because of the intimacy we had and out of respect for Alex. I admit the mistake. I've always admitted all my mistakes", he said, and reaffirmed that he had no intention of harming his ex.
