Santiago del Azar broke his silence and confirmed his breakup with Melody Luz

Just two months after making their romance public, the relationship between Melody Luz and Santiago del Azar came to an end amid a chaotic afternoon that was exposed on social media. Everything began last Thursday, when the dancer met with Alexander Caniggia, the father of her daughter, to discuss the upbringing of little Vene. However, the scene did not end as they expected: the chef, driven by jealousy and insecurity, burst into his partner's home and the gesture triggered the definitive breakup.

According to Melody on her Instagram account, that afternoon she had to "allow myself to be spied on and have someone try to break down my door", implying that Del Azar's behavior was violent. Facing the accusations, the chef decided to break his silence and share his version on the program Mujeres Argentinas (El Trece).

"Honestly, what happened was a mess. I don't have anything bad to say about Mel, she's a wonderful woman, I fell deeply in love with her and her daughter", he confessed with evident sadness. Although he acknowledged that his impulse was unfortunate, he denied having acted violently. "I passed in front of the house, I saw something I didn't like, I rang the bell, she closed the door on me and then I left. I didn't make a scene, I didn't bang on the door or insult her", he clarified when asked by the panelists.

The "photo of discord" that sparked his jealousy was an image Alexander shared in his stories, where he appeared with Melody and the child. Although Del Azar assured that the meeting itself did not bother him, he admitted that his insecurity was triggered when he did not receive a response from his partner when he tried to contact her. "I was seized by that fear of saying 'I'm losing her, I'm going to lose her'", he recounted.

The dancer, meanwhile, was firm in ending the relationship. "She told me 'I'm not going to put up with even a little bit'", the chef confessed with resignation. Even so, he insisted on his defense: "I'm not violent. It was an impulse of someone in love that I couldn't control".

After the episode, Santiago expressed his regret. "Afterwards she came by my house and I apologized. I told her I didn't want to lose her, that I fell in love with her and her daughter. The last thing I wanted was for this to end", the chef admitted.
