The rumors began at the end of August, when Paula Varela reported on Intrusos (América TV) that Del Moro might leave Telefe. The host immediately denied it.
"To everyone asking me, I'm still at my home Telefe, and I'm happy that it's that way," he declared at the time.
He confirmed his participation in the Martín Fierro 2025 ceremony and announced news about Gran Hermano: Generación Dorada.

In a conversation with LAM (América TV), Del Moro reinforced his message: "I never left. I'm happy and I hope it will be for many years."
The host explained that there were misunderstandings: "I don't think Paula has the wrong information, but some issues were misunderstood. Someone told her... Or they threw it out there to muddy the waters."
Regarding his contract, he detailed: "I have a contract that is renewed and now I'm going to renew it for five more years. It was never my intention to go elsewhere nor did I negotiate anything."
