The morning at Unión de Santa Fe was shaken by a judicial operation involving one of its footballers. The Investigations Police, together with the Human Trafficking Division, raided the home of forward Cristián Tarragona as part of an international investigation into human trafficking and possession of child sexual abuse material.
The procedure began around 7 a.m. when officers arrived at the player's residence, located in block 7 of the Alto Verde neighborhood, while he was preparing to head to training. According to official sources, the footballer lives with family members, although no further details were provided due to the confidentiality of the case.

During the raid, officers seized a significant number of electronic devices, including 1 DVR, 1 Wi-Fi modem, 3 tablets, 2 PlayStation consoles, 2 Nintendo consoles, 1 handheld console, 1 digital console, 2 flash drives, 4 SD cards, 1 cell phone, 3 iPhones, 1 iPad, 3 watches (including an Apple Watch), and 2 additional iPads. All items were linked to a case for "child sexual abuse material".
So far, no individuals have been arrested, and police sources indicated that the investigation continues under strict confidentiality, both due to its international nature and the sensitivity of the crime under investigation. The operation was carried out simultaneously in different parts of the country and involved the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPA).

Meanwhile, the director of Investigations of the Ministry of Justice and Security, Rolando Galfrascoli, confirmed the existence of the operation and explained that the investigation "is part of an international program related to the fight against the crime of child pornography: Escudo Protector".
He also detailed that the second raid took place in Villa Constitución, and that in both, material that could be relevant to the case was seized, along with IT equipment that will be subjected to forensic analysis. The investigation is led by prosecutors Ignacio Suasnabar and Matías Broggi, who are working together with international organizations specializing in child exploitation crimes.
