After Santilli prevailed in Buenos Aires province, the journalist posted on his Instagram account a photo of the politician with his wife, Analía Maiorana. In the image, he added a scathing message that many interpreted as a "taunt" for Pazos.
"Double winner! People voted for him, he chose a good, fun, beautiful, and young woman who lifts him up", he wrote emphatically.
That comment went viral because Santilli is Nancy Pazos's ex-husband, which added an extra element to the interpretation of the message.
