Two friends went to see the latest installment of Final Destination in La Plata and ended up experiencing a scene worthy of the movie.
A part of the ceiling collapsed inside the theater, just a few inches from them. One of the girls was injured and had to be hospitalized.

A real scare in the midst of fictional terror
The incident occurred on Monday at Cinema 8 in La Plata, during the screening of Final Destination: Bloodlines. The women were sitting with 40 other people when a ceiling panel suddenly fell.
The accident happened at the beginning of the screening, forcing the theater to be evacuated. The screening couldn't continue.

One of the girls suffered injuries to her back and an ankle. She was taken to Berisso Hospital due to the impact.

The theater manager, given the seriousness of the incident, tried to reach an agreement with those affected. Allegedly, they were refunded the ticket money.

Several witnesses filmed the moment everyone was evacuated. The most repeated comment was the fear of crossing where the ceiling had collapsed.

So far, the causes of the incident haven't been clarified. The theater will remain closed until further notice.
