The Minister of Economy, Luis Caputo, confirmed a historic news that reaffirms the irreversible course of Argentina's economic reconstruction: "The exports of SMEs reached the highest value since 2013". As a direct result of the deregulation and macroeconomic predictability driven by the management of President Javier Milei, between January and August 2026, the exports of SMEs reached the extraordinary figure of USD 7.360 billion. This milestone represents a significant growth of 24% compared to the same period in 2025 and sets an absolute record for the last 13 years

In terms of the productive framework, a total of 6,721 SMEs completed sales operations in the international market during the analyzed period, reflecting an increase of 3% compared to the previous year and 6.2% above the figures recorded in 2023. When breaking down performance by company size, the expansion of economic freedom had a strong impact across all productive scales:

Micro enterprises led the growth path with an impressive jump of 26%.

Small enterprises recorded a solidity of 24.8%.

Medium enterprises advanced at a steady pace of 22.8%.

When delving into the structure of foreign trade by major categories, the figures show an outstanding acceleration in sectors with the highest added value and competitive capacity. Agricultural Origin Manufactures (MOA) led the expansive trend with a year-on-year increase of 33.1%.

Meanwhile, Industrial Origin Manufactures (MOI) showed enviable dynamism by growing 24.1%, while Primary Products accompanied the positive trend with an increase of 21.7%. Looking at the specific details of the productive chapters with the greatest transformative momentum, exponential increases were recorded that reflect the opening of new international markets for Argentine products:

Prepared animal feed: with a historic surge of +277.2%.

Starch or flour-based products: recording a rise of +113.6%.

Fats, oils, and their derivatives: with a growth of +96.5%.

Coal, wood, and their manufactures: increasing by +72%.

Soaps, candles, and other similar products: with a rise of +56%.

This historic milestone in private sector exports was complemented by the government's deregulation agenda, where agencies like ARCA implemented strategic measures to simplify procedures for postal shipments and eliminate old regulatory limits. In this way, the model of freedom demonstrates through irrefutable facts and numbers that the path of surplus, debureaucratization, and free trade is the only engine capable of leading Argentina towards lasting prosperity.
