The French team agreed to a major sponsorship deal with a giant in trading and investment
Amid a season start with ups and downs, Alpine found a positive sign off the track. The French team announced a commercial agreement with eToro, which will become its exclusive trading and investment partner for the 2026 season.
The news comes in a particular context for the French team, which had just lost the backing of several companies, including Microsoft, and had suspended its first preseason tests last week. In that framework, the agreement with the investment platform appears as the first confirmed reinforcement of the year in terms of sponsors.
The Israeli company, valued at 2.4 billion dollars and with assets exceeding one trillion, thus joins Alpine's commercial structure, which keeps BWT as its main sponsor, followed by ENI and MSC Cruises. On a second tier appear brands such as Mercado Libre, Castore, Qatar Airways and Avature, among others.
Alpine suma a eToro como nuevo patrocinador oficial
The team highlighted the strategic reach of the alliance. "We are pleased to welcome eToro as our exclusive trading and investment partner", said Guy Martin, Alpine's Global Marketing Director.
"Our alliance brings together two brands driven by performance, innovation, and the shared ambition to challenge conventions both on and off the track. We are interested in bringing sports fans closer than ever before through innovative campaigns together with like-minded partners", he concluded.
With this agreement, Alpine seeks commercial stability and projection as it prepares for a season that will mark a new chapter, both for the team and for Franco Colapinto, who will be one of its major bets in Formula 1.
The sponsors that Alpine lost for next season
Beyond the good news of adding a new sponsor, it is necessary to take into account that the French team stopped having the financial support of seven brands for 2026. Among the most important, Microsoft stands out, which is ending a long relationship that began in 2012 and will mean a loss of almost 3 million dollars in revenue.
Meanwhile, the other companies that are ending their relationship with the French team are: Binance, Banco BRB, ApeCoin, Infinox, Sprinklr and ADA Cosmetics. In addition, the definitive departure of Jack Doohan could lead to two more losses: Oakberry and Before you Speak, companies related to the Australian driver.
