After 22 days of hospitalization, Soledad Silveyra was discharged and returned home to continue her recovery. The actress had been admitted to the Otamendi Sanatorium at the beginning of September after suffering a fall at her home that caused a pelvic fracture and a sacral fissure.
It was the actress herself who confirmed the news this Tuesday through her social media. There, she shared some images from the days she spent hospitalized and spoke about the process that still lies ahead.
“I’m already at home after 22 days. I had a pelvic fracture and a sacral fissure. I’m putting all the strength I can into recovering,” she expressed.
Silveyra acknowledged that the last few weeks were marked by severe pain, but emphasized the support of her loved ones as a fundamental part of coping with the situation.
“I have gone through a lot of pain, but with the support of my family, my beloved grandchildren, I am convinced that I will get through this, loving and respecting myself and, above all, taking better care of myself than I have until now,” she reflected.
Additionally, she thanked her coworkers, the staff at the Otamendi Sanatorium, and the press for the respect with which they treated her situation. Finally, she made it clear what one of her main goals is: “I love you all, my dear people, and I promise to do everything possible to be back on stage soon.”
How Soledad Silveyra's accident happened
The 74-year-old actress suffered a domestic accident at the beginning of September while she was alone at home. According to reports at the time from LAM (América TV), after the fall, she contacted her son Facundo, who came to assist her, and she was subsequently taken to the Otamendi Sanatorium.
