Storms, humidity, and a marked drop in temperature will characterize Monday, May 26 in the city of Buenos Aires and surrounding areas. This was reported by Matías Bertolotti during his usual morning report.
The meteorologist pointed out the presence of warm and humid air, unusual for the season, which will give way to the advance of a cold front with rain.

How does Monday, May 26 start in the AMBA?
Since the early morning, intense thunderstorms have been recorded in several areas of the west and south of the suburbs. Neighborhoods like González Catán, Merlo, Adrogué, Burzaco, and La Plata were the most affected.
The city of Buenos Aires remained on the sidelines of the worst spots, but it is still under alert for showers and isolated rains until at least 10 in the morning.
What is expected for the rest of the day?
During the morning, instability continues with overcast skies, high humidity, and some occasional rains. The weather will be heavy with mist (low fog).
The maximum temperature will reach 20 degrees, but the environment will remain humid and unstable, especially toward the night when the rains will return.
Tomorrow the cold arrives with more storms
With the definitive entry of the cold front in the early hours of Tuesday, more intense storms are expected, especially in the north of the province of Buenos Aires.

According to Bertolotti, it will be a day with rain in the morning, wind in the afternoon, and a sharp drop in temperature. A minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 16°C is expected.
Extended forecast for the week
Wednesday: minimum of 7°C and maximum of 14°C, with partly cloudy skies.
Thursday: minimum of 5°C and maximum of 15°C, cool and dry weather.
Friday: minimum of 7°C and maximum of 16°C, with sun and morning cold.
The specialist warned that it is not a polar wave, but it is the first persistent cold of the month, with low wind chill and the need for light clothing for several days.
