The evidence of corruption once again falls on Pablo Toviggino after the revelation of a fraudulent scheme involving rural land by a producer from Córdoba. This new case adds to the series of judicial investigations that today are targeting the origin of the assets of the top executives of AFA. The victim claims that he was deceived in a commercial transaction that involved more than 1,700 hectares in Santiago del Estero.
Ricardo Simeone, victim of this fraud, directly identified the treasurer of the governing body of national soccer as the main person responsible. The producer discovered the truth when he tried to legalize the ownership of the land and encountered insurmountable legal obstacles in that judicial process. The man from Córdoba confirmed that the transaction was carried out in good faith, without suspecting that all the documentation he received was forged and devoid of real value.
The complainant recounted that the meetings were arranged in strategic locations and included political figures in order to generate an initial false sense of trust. During the legal dispute, the producer from Córdoba described the exact moment when he understood that the land actually belonged to the local State. Simeone stated: "We found out that it was public land when we went to court to get out of the twenty-year possession and recover the ownership of the land through the deed."

Fraudulent schemes and institutional complicity in Santiago del Estero
The testimony exposes a network of alleged complicities among various administrative agencies and notary offices within the territory of Santiago del Estero. The businessman described an alleged structure designed to seize assets through shock groups and the judicial backing of officials. Regarding the seller, the producer from Córdoba maintained: "It was Toviggino himself. It was in Santiago del Estero, which is an armored kingdom where things happen inside that one realizes are unsustainable."
The producer's account details specific meetings where political actors guaranteed that the paperwork would go through without any serious future complications. This alleged system of organized dispossession would involve the participation of several sequential links to validate the illegality of the acts. To explain how the judicial system in Santiago del Estero operates, the victim said: "Justice in Santiago del Estero only moves forward if it is to protect the entire gang."
This case seriously tarnishes the image of the corrupt executive, who is already under scrutiny for other irregularities in the management of institutional funds. Simeone fears that he won't recover his multimillion-dollar investment but keeps his complaint as a way to expose the damage caused to entire communities in the north. Society today is demanding deep clarity regarding these behaviors that illustrate how certain leaders use their power for their own benefit.
