Hideo Kojima will be one of the star figures at Summer Game Fest 2025, which takes place next June 6. The Japanese creator will use the event to continue promoting Death Stranding 2, his new production exclusive to PS5.
Geoff Keighley, the event organizer, confirmed his presence in what will be one of the most anticipated appearances of the show. The event will be broadcast live from 11:00 PM (Spain time) and everything indicates there will be news.
What will Kojima present at Summer Game Fest?
Everything suggests the focus will be on Death Stranding 2, which is scheduled for release on June 26 on PlayStation 5. However, clues about the other projects Kojima is working on can't be ruled out.
In addition to the sequel starring Norman Reedus, Kojima Productions is developing two more games: OD, a horror title in collaboration with Xbox, and Physint, a tactical stealth game with the spirit of a spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid.
OD and Physint, the other projects that could appear
OD is the one most likely to be shown. Kojima already presented it in 2023 and described it as an experience that blends film and video games. The involvement of Jordan Peele and other horror directors adds to the anticipation.
