The Iranian regime released the news this morning that it has once again closed the transit of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz, in response to recent Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory against the terrorist group Hezbollah.
The information was released by the state agency Fars, which specified that the measure was adopted simultaneously with Israeli military actions.
According to the report, “simultaneously with Israel's attacks on Lebanon, the passage of oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz has been stopped.” This waterway is strategic for international energy trade, so any interruption has a direct impact on global oil markets
.In parallel with the suspension of traffic, the Iranian Navy would have issued warnings to vessels that remain in the area.

Naval authorities allegedly pointed out that ships should not attempt to cross the strait without prior authorization: “Any vessel that attempts to enter the sea will be attacked and destroyed
.”However, the Donald Trump administration rejected the versions about an alleged closure of the Strait of Hormuz and assured that the circulation of boats not only continues, but has increased in recent hours.
