The damage caused by Kirchnerism in the Congress area amounts to $414 million
This figure includes both the repair or replacement of urban furniture and the cost of the cleaning operation
The Government of the City of Buenos Aires estimated the cost derived from the damages caused yesterday by groups of Kirchnerist activists and leftist terrorists who participated in the "pensioners' march" and clashed with the security forces at $414 million.
This figure includes both the repair or replacement of urban furniture and the cost of the cleaning operation, which began at dawn after the leftist disturbances.
According to official sources, 89 vandalized garbage containers were recorded in an area of 15 blocks. Most were burned or suffered considerable damage. Some were even used as "shields" during the clashes between the Kirchnerists and the security forces.

The special cleaning operation in the affected area began last night and continued throughout the early morning. More than 150 street sweepers, along with operators handling 8 pressure washers, 8 garbage trucks, and specialized personnel, participated in the sanitation tasks.
Additionally, attacks on 6 police vehicles were reported: 2 patrol cars and 4 motorcycles. According to sources from the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, a vehicle used by the City Police has an approximate value of 50 thousand dollars, while an equipped and plotted motorcycle is around $25 million.
Meanwhile, as prisoners escape, the head of the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, stated this Thursday at a press conference that there will be a policy of "zero tolerance" against those responsible for the destruction.

"The City suffered an absolutely unacceptable afternoon of street violence. Some professional criminals, who make violence their way of life, attacked the public order forces with stones, sticks, incendiary material, and even firearms," said Macri, joined by the new Minister of Security, Horacio Giménez, the Secretary of Security, Maximiliano Piñeiro, and the Chief of the City Police, Diego Casaló.
"We will protect the City with all the strength, with all the political decision, and with the full force of the law. We will pursue these criminals judicially and make them pay for their damages," assured the head of Government, and emphasized: "Zero tolerance for the violent, zero tolerance for violent mafias and those who make violence their way of life."
In addition to the damages caused by the Kirchnerist and leftist demonstrators, the criminals also inflicted injuries on 20 police officers, five of whom remain hospitalized.
