The models featured in the series reflect 1980s Argentina and revive icons of local motorsport

The series "El Eternauta", starring Ricardo Darín and set in the 80s, revives classic models of the Argentine automotive market. Many of these vehicles became icons in the country due to their durability, style, and connection with the everyday life of the era.

Although the original comic is set in the 50s, the Netflix  series makes a time jump post-Malvinas. Therefore, the cars that appear reflect those that circulated the streets of Buenos Aires in the 80s.
