Another factor that influenced the separation was the lack of approval from Lamine Yamal's family. The journalist explained that neither his father nor his grandmother looked favorably on the relationship with the Argentine singer.

"They did not support the romance, especially the father and grandmother, who did not want to meet her," Etchegoyen stated, suggesting that the family believed the relationship was affecting the player's focus and athletic performance.
