The reasons why Icardi didn't see his daughters: he believed they were setting a trap for him

Journalist Gustavo Méndez, who is close to Eugenia "La China" Suárez, revealed the reasons why Mauro Icardi decided not to spend Father's Day with his daughters at Chateau Libertador. According to his report on Intrusos (América TV), the Galatasaray forward rejected Judge Adrián Hagopián's conditions and preferred to travel to Carmelo, Uruguay, with his partner.

The decision was not improvised. According to Méndez, Icardi acted on the direct recommendation of his attorneys, Elba Marcovecchio and Lara Piro, who suggested that he avoid any situation that could be used against him amid the legal conflict with Wanda Nara.

Icardi broke his silence and shared images of his getaway

For several days, the footballer did not give any public signs about his whereabouts. However, this Monday afternoon he broke his silence on social media and shared several photos of his romantic getaway with La China Suárez.

The images confirmed what until then had only been a rumor: the forward had spent the long weekend in Carmelo, Uruguay, accompanied by his girlfriend. In the Instagram post, he even tagged her, making it clear that it was a consensual and intentionally public decision.

The actress reportedly played a key role in this stage of the family conflict. According to reports,  Icardi did not show up at the Chateau on Sunday —where a lunch with Francesca and Isabella was planned— due to the discomfort caused by the court order that prevented Eugenia from being present at the meeting.

Suspicions, legal strategy, and La China's influence

"What was going to happen happened," Méndez said on television. "Icardi did not accept the conditions imposed by the judge and went to rest in Uruguay on the advice of his attorneys. While there, he found out that Wanda was also there," he explained.

The journalist explained that the player feared a situation set up by his ex.  "He thought it could be a trap. If he fell for it, he would lose everything he has gained so far," he warned.

He also questioned the attempt to condition the relationship between Icardi and his daughters because of Suárez's presence.  "How could he not be able to live with his partner and, at the same time, see his daughters? If he is going to form a blended family, the most normal thing would be for them all to be able to spend time together," he emphasized.

The dispute between Icardi and Wanda Nara, far from being solved, added a new chapter full of tension, public exposure, and decisions made with legal and emotional strategy. For now, he chooses to keep his distance.
