Electronic Arts and Maxis have announced the arrival of a new expansion for The Sims 4: "Enchanted by Nature", a proposal that blends mysticism, nature, and emotions in a fantasy setting. The official release is scheduled for July 10, 2025, and those who purchase the expansion before August 21 will receive exclusive content, including the Lofty Leaf Pond, the Luminous Mycena Lantern, and a Disguised Dwelling Fairy Home.

With this addition, the world of the Sims is transformed and invites players to explore Innisgreen, a new setting that celebrates the ancestral connection with the environment and Celtic folklore.

Innisgreen: a natural world with Celtic inspiration

The expansion places players in three unique neighborhoods within the magical territory of Innisgreen. Adhmor and Sprucederry Grove offer community experiences with an aesthetic reminiscent of rural Ireland, while Everdew invites players to experience unpredictable adventures with a dynamic similar to fairy tales.

Unlike other urban or technological expansions, here daily life adapts to the natural environment: Sims will need to gather plants, fish, and even sleep under the stars as part of their daily routine.

Fairies return: emotional magic and new challenges

One of the most anticipated returns is that of the fairies, who haven't appeared since The Sims 3: Supernatural. In this expansion, Sims can transform into magical beings whose energy is fueled by emotions. Players can choose between two main paths: Harmonious or Discordant, each with unique abilities and distinct lifestyles.

The emotional system will be key: poor management can cause magical ailments that can only be relieved through the use of natural elixirs, crafted with ingredients gathered in the open world.

Naturopathy as a new professional career

Aligned with the focus of the expansion, the Naturopathy profession is introduced, allowing Sims to become Apothecaries and use their magical skills to treat up to eight emotional ailments. In addition, players can unlock 14 additional special effects through magical recipes, enhancing professional and economic development within the game.
