The province of Córdoba is promoting a regulatory reform project for the Industrial Promotion Law that proposes the updating of the current productive incentive scheme in the jurisdiction. The proposal includes direct mechanisms to stimulate capital investments, raise manufacturing levels, incorporate technology, and increase competitiveness. Additionally, the initiative establishes measures aimed at promoting the creation of private jobs and strengthening the network of small and medium-sized enterprises.
The text of the law was developed between the teams of the provincial administration and the Industrial Union of Córdoba (UIC), following an assessment of needs. The regulation seeks to provide legal certainty to manufacturing ventures and encourage the establishment of new projects within the Córdoba territory. The scheme is based on the collaboration between the public sector and private chambers to support the development of manufacturing sectors.
The presentation of the technical details of the project will take place this Wednesday, September 2, at 10:30 during the events for Industry Day. The call will be held at the UIC headquarters, located in front of the provincial airport, with the participation of the governor of Córdoba, Martín Llaryora, and the head of the UIC, José Manuali. The meeting will bring together public officials and leaders from various productive chambers to formalize the submission of the regulatory text.

Technical institutional articulation and national context
The design of the provisions was based on a diagnosis developed by private entities to address requirements related to the operational capacity of the plants. From the business representation, they emphasized the importance of structuring agreed public policies that provide legal certainty to productive investments. The initiative aims to establish efficient mechanisms that simplify administrative procedures and enhance the integration of local manufactures into regional markets.
The commemoration in Córdoba will coincide temporally with the event organized in the province of Buenos Aires by the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA). That national call will take place at the Elea Laboratory headquarters, located in the town of Los Polvorines, where the situation of the sector will be analyzed. The Buenos Aires event will feature the presence of the Chief of Cabinet of the Nation, Diego Santilli, representing the National Executive Power to follow up on the industrial agenda.
For his part, the head of the UIA, Martín Rappalini, will lead the panel of leaders who will evaluate the economic indicators of manufacturing activity in the country. Meanwhile, local authorities will complete the commemorative activities at the union headquarters in Córdoba with the presentation of the technical details that make up the law. The territorial chambers plan to begin the treatment of the regulatory proposal for its subsequent elevation and formal debate in the legislative chamber.
