Brad Pitt's mansion in Los Angeles was robbed while he was traveling.
The actor was not at his residence during the robbery; the police are investigating whether it was a planned heist
The iconic mansion of Brad Pitt in Los Angeles was looted during his absence, while the actor was out of the country on a promotional tour. The robbery took place on Wednesday night and is already being investigated by the local police.

Intruders forcibly entered the property
Around 10:30 p.m., officers from the Los Angeles Police Department arrived at the residence after an alert about the presence of three intruders. According to official sources cited by ABC, the suspects climbed a security fence, accessed the yard, and broke a front window to enter.
Although the value of the stolen items has not yet been specified, it was confirmed that the home was looted. Surveillance cameras at the site and in the surrounding area will be key to identifying those responsible.

Brad Pitt's architectural gem, now at the center of the scandal
The burgled residence is known as the Steel House, an iconic building in Los Feliz designed by architect Neil A. Johnson. This property, inspired by the brutalist style of the 1960s, is characterized by its glass walls and bold design.

The house was renovated by designer Mark Haddawy, who respected the original spirit of the project and gave it a sophisticated touch with Mid Century decor. With more than 2,000 m² (21,528 square feet) spread over two floors, the mansion is hidden behind lush vegetation, almost like a jungle fortress that protects the actor's privacy.
A pattern of robberies pointing to international gangs
Brad Pitt was not at his home at the time of the robbery. The actor is traveling to promote F1, his latest film focused on motorsports. So far, it has not been determined whether this was a targeted attack against him or part of a wave of organized robberies.

In February, seven Chilean citizens were charged with similar crimes against athletes such as Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes. According to the Prosecutor's Office, they acted when the victims were absent and stole more than two million dollars in jewelry, watches, and cash.
The police do not rule out that the robbery at the Steel House is related to these gangs, which operate in high-income neighborhoods by taking advantage of the temporary lack of surveillance. The investigation continues.
