They confirm the identity of the body found in a closet in Cordoba
The Forensic Genetics Institute of the Córdoba Judiciary identified the remains found in an apartment in the city center
The Forensic Genetics Institute of the Judiciary of Córdoba identified the remains found in a closet inside an apartment in the city center.
This is Milagros Micaela Bastos, a 22-year-old woman who had been missing since August of last year.

The confirmation came after a DNA analysis requested by prosecutor Silvana Fernández, who was investigating the young woman's disappearance.
Milagros lived in conditions of extreme vulnerability and was addicted to drugs in the Bajo Pueyrredón area. Her family had filed several reports about her disappearance in November and December of last year.
The situation of former police officer Horacio Grasso becomes more complicated
The remains were found in the apartment occupied by former police officer Horacio Grasso, who was serving house arrest after being sentenced to 27 years in prison for the murder of a child.

The prosecutor's office investigating the discovery of the body, led by José Bringas, could charge Grasso with the crime of femicide.
"It is very likely that with this information, the former police officer will ultimately be charged," sources close to the case told Cadena 3.
