The Ministry of Security imposed an indefinite attendance restriction on Juan Eduardo Lenczicki
The Ministry of National Security decided on Monday to apply an indefinite administrative attendance restriction to all sporting events in the country for Juan Eduardo Lenczicki, identified as a leader of the radicalized faction of the barra brava of Independiente known as "Los Dueños de Avellaneda." The measure was published in the Official Gazette through Resolution 1039/2025.

The decision was made as a result of the serious incidents that occurred on August 20 at the Libertadores de América stadium, during the Copa Sudamericana match between Rojo and Universidad de Chile, which left several injured and numerous arrests.
According to the resolution signed by Minister Patricia Bullrich, the sanction aims to prevent new acts of violence at football events and is part of the Safe Stands Program.
"This restriction aims to prevent the attendance of individuals who could pose risks to safety at sporting events, especially those linked to violent behavior and command structures in radicalized groups. This measure takes effect from its issuance and will be registered in the Safe Stands Program," the statement says.
Previously, the leader of the barra had received an admission ban in March of this year, when he physically assaulted a woman. That first sanction had been imposed by APreViDe (Agency for the Prevention of Violence in Sports) and had a duration of five months, which expired yesterday.
