After the ruling by the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation that upheld his conviction for the Once Tragedy, Federal Oral Court No. 4 ordered the arrest of the former Kirchnerist Minister of Federal Planning, Julio De Vido, who was sentenced to four years in prison for fraudulent administration.
The former official of the corrupt Cristina Kirchner must appear this Thursday at 10 a.m. at the federal courts of Comodoro Py 2002 so that his arrest can be carried out, although the conditions for serving the sentence have not yet been specified.
The order was signed this Tuesday afternoon by Judge Ricardo Basílico, a member of TOF No. 4. It is expected that De Vido's defense will request the benefit of house arrest, given that the former minister is over 75 years old.

Earlier, the Supreme Court, with the signatures of Justices Horacio Rosatti, Carlos Rosenkrantz, and Ricardo Lorenzetti, had rejected as inadmissible the appeals filed by De Vido's defense, which sought his acquittal, and by the Prosecutor's Office, which sought to increase the sentence.
This way, both the four-year prison sentence and the perpetual disqualification from holding public office were confirmed, bringing to an end the lengthy judicial process that began after the railway disaster that occurred in February 2012.
“In this regard, based on the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation in the context of the related files, the conviction imposed on Julio Miguel De Vido has become final, and therefore, in accordance with the provisions of Article 375 of the Federal Code of Criminal Procedure, it is appropriate to proceed with its execution”, stated Judge Ricardo Basílico in the ruling accessed by Infobae.

So far, De Vido had not been detained in the case investigating responsibility for the Once railway tragedy, in which 52 people died and more than 700 were injured.
In that process, the former minister was acquitted of the crime of negligent disaster, but convicted of fraudulent administration, as it was determined that he did not adequately oversee the use of public funds allocated to Trenes de Buenos Aires (TBA), the company that held the service concession.
