According to reports on A la Tarde, the host of the Telefe show allegedly insisted that the Formula 1 driver participate in a special segment of the program.
Wanda Nara would not only be focused on hosting the new edition of MasterChef Celebrity (Telefe), but also on adding figures capable of generating impact both on and off the screen. And, according to reports in recent hours, one of the names that sparked her interest the most was Franco Colapinto.
The information was revealed by journalist Santiago Sposato during a broadcast of A la Tarde, where he stated that Wanda was “dazzled” by the young Argentine driver and had tried to convince him to be part of the Telefe reality show.
As explained on the program, the intention was not for Colapinto to join as a permanent participant in the culinary competition, but rather to have a special appearance in one of the episodes.
“Wanda wanted to have an ex of China Suárez on her show. It was for a special, for him to participate in some way in the program. Obviously, she couldn’t and wasn’t interested in him being a fixed participant,” Sposato detailed about the strategy that the host supposedly devised.
However, despite the production's insistence and attempts to contact him during his trips to Argentina, the Alpine driver reportedly rejected the proposal.
It was reported that neither the calls nor the efforts to extend the invitation managed to convince the racer, who is currently going through one of the most important moments of his sports career.
