Two months after the accident that left him on the brink of death, Thiago Medina broke his silence and described in detail how his recovery is progressing.
The former Gran Hermano participant reappeared publicly with a message of relief, gratitude, and deep reflection after the most difficult weeks of his life.
In a conversation with the press, Thiago confirmed that his progress is steady, although he still faces significant aftereffects.

“I'm better, fortunately and thanks to God. Every day I'm a little better. Yesterday I had physical therapy and I'm still undergoing treatments. I'm already running, jumping, and I have exercises to do at home” he explained, describing the intense rehabilitation process he has been going through since the accident.
Medina also revealed one of the most serious consequences left by the crash: the removal of his spleen. “Since my spleen was removed, I'm more prone to getting sick, but I can live a normal life” he said, aware that he will have to take extra precautions for the rest of his life.
The young man also said that his body still feels the impact: “When I was hospitalized, I lost 22 kilograms (48.5 pounds), but I've already gained 8 (17.6 pounds). My goal is to reach 75 kilograms (165.3 pounds)”. According to him, regaining muscle mass and energy is now one of his priorities.

The visible scars, on the other hand, are not something that worries him: “That's the least of it. I'm fine, I can walk and run. I didn't end up in a wheelchair. They had raised that possibility, or even that I might die”.
One of the most striking moments of the account came when Thiago spoke about what he experienced while he was in an induced coma. “I had many dreams and nightmares, which I'd rather not talk about” he began. He then delved deeper into that extreme experience: “I dreamed that I wanted to get out and kept returning to the same place. I was desperate, I couldn't hear my family, but I could hear the dreams”.
He also stated that those images left a deep mark on him, especially those related to his faith. “I had dreams related to religion, which I'm going to have tattooed on my back where I have the scar” he revealed.
