El Trece renewed its line-up: how did Guido Kaczka and Mario Pergolini perform
Both made their debut this Monday with different approaches and results that are reshaping prime time
Monday, July 14 marked a turning point in El Trece's programming. With the premiere of Buenas noches familia and the highly anticipated return of Mario Pergolini to TV withOtro día perdido, the channel put two strong proposals on the table to refresh its line-up and compete with Telefe's established strength.
The move yielded mixed but promising results: Guido Kaczka had the channel's most-watched show, while Pergolini achieved a comeback with his own identity and peaks of attention, although outside the overall Top Five.
Guido returned to the simple game and won the first round
Buenas noches familia, Kaczka's new venture, offered a format closer to his origins, with live games, audience participation, and a special segment dedicated to dogs up for adoption. The debut averaged 7.1 rating points, with peaks of 8.8, ranking fifth overall and first within El Trece.

The show featured Nico Vázquez as a guest, who took part in the punching ball challenge—in reference to his role in Rocky—and delivered one of the night's viral moments. With this combination of family entertainment, emotion, and social commitment, the show made it clear that it connected with the audience.
Pergolini returned with sharp wit and a personal touch
At 10:30 p.m., it was Mario Pergolini's turn with Otro día perdido, a show full of irony, current affairs analysis, and interviews with prominent figures. Although his average was more moderate (5.7 points), the show had peaks close to 7 points, especially during the visit of Guillermo Francella, his first guest.

The show, accompanied by "Soy Rada" Aristarán and comedian Laila Roth, opted for a different format within prime time. Although it didn't make it into the day's Top Five, it ranked second on the channel and left open the possibility of growth in future episodes.
Before the premiere, Pergolini had made a sarcastic remark on air at Vorterix about the current volatility of television: "We need to last longer than Homero Pettinato, who was on for two weeks... now they hire you and already tell you they're firing you next week."
The ratings battle: Telefe remains strong, El Trece reactivates
Monday's Top Five was dominated by Telefe, which placed four shows at the top:
- La Voz Argentina – 13.6 points
- Pasapalabra Famosos – 9.2 points
- Telefe Noticias – 9.1 points
- La traición (Turkish soap opera) – 7.7 points
- Buenas noches familia (El Trece) – 7.1 points
With this result, the channel of the balls once again led the daily average (7.7 points), ahead of El Trece (4.7 points).
In addition, Ahora caigo! was rescheduled to 6:30 p.m. to make room for Pergolini in prime time. Darío Barassi's show maintained its previous numbers, with 5.1 points.
What about the other channels?
- América: led with LAM, which scored 4.2 points.
- El Nueve: the most-watched was Bendita, with 3.5 points.
- TV Pública: the movie Ronin achieved 0.4 points.
- Net TV and Bravo: are no longer included in Kantar Ibope's measurements.
This Tuesday, the 15th, will be a new test for both shows. The challenge will be to maintain—or improve—the numbers and consolidate the position that El Trece is trying to reclaim in prime time with two prominent figures and well-defined styles.
