This is the modified Honda Civic that defies logic and touches the ground
A workshop in Taiwan created the world's lowest car, without a steering wheel or pedals, and featuring a science fiction design
A Taiwanese workshop took automotive customization to the extreme with a project as radical as it is eye-catching.
This is the Banana Peel, a transformed Honda Civic that moves just millimeters from the ground, with no visible steering wheel or pedals.

What is the Banana Peel and why does it attract so much attention?
The Banana Peel is a fully modified Honda Civic EG by the Stance Garage Taiwan (SGT) team, led by Lan Dong.
The result is a vehicle that appears to be buried in the asphalt. Only the roof, windows, and part of the hood are visible.
The lower part disappears from view. This is not an optical trick: the body was cut and redesigned until the car was almost touching the ground.

A design that defies logic
This Civic has no steering wheel or pedals like a conventional car. Everything is controlled from screens and sensors, spaceship-style.
The driver lies completely inside a sealed cabin, in a horizontal position, with digital visual feedback.

The interface mimics that of a futuristic control system. External cameras transmit the surroundings and allow for precise maneuvering.
How did they manage to get it so close to the ground?
To achieve this extreme stance, the entire chassis structure was modified. The original components were removed or redistributed.
The steering system was redesigned from scratch. This allowed the vehicle to flatten and maintain its mobility.

The result is as visual as it is functional: it looks fused with the ground, but moves smoothly over flat surfaces.
