The singer had hinted at her engagement days earlier by sharing on her social media a series of images from an intimate dinner by the sea, surrounded by candles and rose petals.
On the show Mujeres argentinas (eltrece), they provided details about this new chapter in the couple's life.
“We found De Paul and Stoessel at Aeroparque heading to take a private flight to Miami. This is because he will join the team where Lionel Messi plays and because she will perform with Coldplay, singing in a stadium in front of more than 100,000 people,” one of the panelists said.
From the airport, the press tried to get a statement from the footballer about the supposed ring, but he only replied with a knowing smile.
According to the same show, the proposal took place in Morocco, an exotic and romantic destination chosen by the player to seal this new beginning with the artist.
“They got engaged in an unbelievable place. He proposed marriage to her and, who knows, by the end of this year or the beginning of the next, they might get married… Besides, he never married Camila Homs, so it would be his first time,” they added.
Their close circle assures that, after the reconciliation, Rodrigo made a definitive decision: he bought a house in Miami with the intention of sharing it with Tini and making it their home.
“The rest of his life” was the phrase the footballer reportedly used when telling his close friends about his plan.
While they try to keep a low profile, both have left visible clues about their engagement.
On Mediodía Noticias, they noticed a curious detail: Rodrigo was photographed wearing a small padlock as a necklace, while Tini appeared wearing earrings with tiny keys.
For the panelists, it is a romantic metaphor representing the bond that unites them: he with the padlock and she with the key to his heart.
