River Plate remains active in the transfer market and has finalized the arrival of its seventh reinforcement. Ahead of the match against Rosario Central for the third round of the Torneo Clausura, the Núñez club reached an agreement with Vélez to acquire Tobías Andrada, one of the young talents in Argentine football.

The midfielder, who is only 19 years old, will join the squad led by Eduardo Coudet after both institutions completed negotiations for a portion of the player's economic rights.

The operation involves the acquisition of 70% of the player's rights for an amount close to 6 million dollars. Additionally, River will have the option to retain an additional 20% if certain sporting objectives established in the agreement are met.

Andrada was not called up for the match that Vélez played against Talleres de Córdoba. The player was scheduled to report this Friday morning at the Rossi Clinic to undergo the necessary medical examination.

Once the tests are completed, the midfielder will move to the Monumental stadium to finalize the paperwork and sign his new contract with River. The contract is expected to be valid until December 31, 2029, meaning the player will be tied to the institution for the next four and a half seasons.

After formalizing his incorporation, Andrada will be available to Eduardo Coudet and will begin training with the professional squad.

The arrival of the young player does not mean the end of the market for River. As Coudet himself mentioned in a press conference, the management still aims to finalize at least two more signings to complete the squad.
