The Regional Court of Traunstein, located in Germany, has begun the trialagainst a 55-year-old police officer, currently suspended from duty, accused of multiple serious sexual offenses. The defendant, a biological man who claims to identify as a woman, faces charges that include rape, child abuse, assault, distribution of pornographic material, possession of child pornography, and production of zoophilia or bestiality.
The events constituting the most serious charge occurred in August 2025, during a group outing that included a friend of the accused. According to the prosecution's accusation, the former officer sexually assaulted his friend's daughter, a 14-year-old, in the bathroom of a fast food restaurant. Previously, the defendant — who is approximately 40 years older than the victim — had sent her a message with pornographic content via the WhatsApp application from the same police station.
