Two union leaders from Misiones will be brought to trial, accused of causing severe chaos and generating disturbances. These are Mónica Gurina, a controversial figure from CTA Autónoma and UTEM—known for her confrontational style and compared by many to a Misiones version of Baradel—and Leandro Sánchez, who led the blockades that left roads paralyzed for days, affecting traffic and the normal course of daily activities. Their actions not only intensified social tension but also caused serious harm to thousands of Misiones residents who were caught in the middle of the conflict.
Correctional and Juvenile Court No. 6 of Posadas scheduled the trial for November 25 to 28, after the hearing originally set for October was suspended. With this rescheduling, the judiciary decided to move forward with the case stemming from the blockades led by Gurina and Sánchez, actions that created real chaos on the roads, complicated the daily lives of thousands of people, and caused significant economic losses for those who lost entire workdays stranded or unable to work due to the blockades.
