The 2026 World Cup took another step in its countdown with the unveiling of the TRIONDA, the official ball created by Adidas. Its name and design reference the unprecedented triple organization of the tournament, which will bring together Canada, Mexico, and the United States starting in June next year.
"We now have the beautiful official ball of the FIFA World Cup 26. I am pleased and proud to present the TRIONDA. The Adidas brand has created a new and iconic World Cup ball, whose design embodies the unity and passion of the host countries of next year's tournament. I am looking forward to seeing the first goals with this wonderful ball," said Gianni Infantino, FIFA president.

The ball features a pattern in red, green, and blue representing the co-host countries, as well as distinctive symbols such as the Canadian maple leaf, the Mexican eagle, and the American stars. It also displays golden flashes in tribute to the most desired trophy in football.
Beyond its visual appeal, the TRIONDA includes innovations to optimize gameplay: it is made up of four geometric panels with deep seams that improve aerodynamic stability, along with embossed graphics that enhance grip even in rainy or humid conditions.
The ball will also feature a 500 Hz motion sensor that will send data to VAR in real time, allowing for greater accuracy in refereeing decisions, especially in offside situations.
La Trionda tendrá tecnología de última generación
FIFA highlighted that this launch adds to the recent unveiling of the official mascots and the opening of the first phases of ticket sales, where more than 4.5 million requests from 216 countries have already been registered.
The next major milestone will be the final World Cup draw, which will take place on December 5 in Washington, D.C., while the TRIONDA begins to roll as a symbol of the event that promises to be the most attended in history.
