President Donald Trump has warned the terrorist group Hamas that it must lay down its arms or, otherwise, that result will be achieved by force. At the same time, the U.S. president confirmed that the second phase of his Gaza ceasefire agreement "begins right now."

"They said they were going to disarm, and if they don't disarm, we'll disarm them," the U.S. president told reporters during a meeting with his Argentine counterpart, Javier Milei, at the White House.

When asked how the disarmament of the terrorist group could be achieved, Trump avoided giving details, but assured that Hamas "knows I'm not playing." He added that it is something that could happen "quickly and perhaps violently."

Hamas returns the bodies of four Israeli hostages

Meanwhile, as the meeting between the two right-wing leaders was taking place at the White House, the terrorist militia reported the handover of four deceased Israeli hostages. The Israel Defense Forces said in a statement that they had received four coffins through the Red Cross, which will be identified by forensic authorities later.

Yesterday, Hamas returned the bodies of four other deceased individuals who were in its captivity. The people killed by the terrorist group were identified as Yossi Sharabi, Daniel Peretz, Guy Iluz, and Bipin Joshi.

The handover of the 48 hostages who were in the possession of the terrorist organization and who had not yet been extracted by the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip — both the living and the dead — constitutes an essential part of the first phase of the truce sponsored by Trump and agreed upon by the parties.

Meanwhile, the disarmament of Hamas is one of the essential pillars of the second phase of the Republican's 20-point plan, and it is an idea that the militia has previously rejected completely. On Saturday, a senior official of the terrorist group said that disarmament was "off the table" and "not subject to any negotiation."
