The president of the United States, Donald Trump, reported this Tuesday on a new attack by his military forces on a narco-boat transporting drugs in waters off the coast of Venezuela. The attack was precise and resulted in the death of six drug traffickers.
"The attack was carried out in international waters and six male narco-terrorists on board the boat died", announced the president of the superpower in a statement on his Truth Social platform, adding that no member of the armed forces was injured in the operation.
Trump added that "intelligence confirmed that the boat was trafficking narcotics" and was "associated with illicit narco-terrorism networks." Secretary of War Pete Hegseth ordered the attack this morning and also shared video footage of it, as he has done with each of these bombings.

Trump puts Maduro on the ropes
With this new operation, the United States has now eliminated five narco-boats since it began its offensive in the Caribbean Sea. In addition, it comes just a few weeks after U.S. officials declared that their country is in a "non-international armed conflict" with drug cartels.
In this context, the Trump administration considers the cartels involved in drug trafficking as "non-state armed groups" whose actions "constitute an armed attack against the United States".
This, in addition to being a declaration of war against organized crime, is a message for the Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, whom the White House rightly considers the leader of the Cartel of the Suns and has placed a $50 million reward on information leading to his arrest.
According to what the Democratic tabloid The New York Times reported a few days ago, Trump decreed that the time for diplomacy with the Maduro regime is over and the U.S. president now considers attacking land targets of drug trafficking and the Chavista dictatorship inside Venezuela.
